LUMAGICA - A magical winter experience in the Gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle

For the first time since its opening in 2001, the Gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle will be open to visitors during the winter months – all for a magical attraction: LUMAGICA Light Park, South Tyrol's first light park of its kind, premieres on November 21, 2024, and invites visitors on an unforgettable journey through the enchanting world of the botanical garden.

LUMAGICA is much more than just an impressive light installation – it is a tribute to nature in all its beauty and diversity. Each of the over 300 handcrafted light sculptures has been carefully designed to reflect the unique themes and atmospheres of the gardens. At dusk, the light objects come to life, transforming the surroundings into a fascinating interplay of lights that enchant the senses and create a magical atmosphere.

Guests can look forward to a unique show where water, light, laser, and sound effects blend beautifully. Along the way, interactive stations invite visitors to become part of the light park experience.
